Battery Tray 1950 F1 6 Cyl. 226

Does any one have a battery tray for a 1950 f1 226? All Catalogs have one for V8 but not the 6 cylinder.

Keep a look out on Ebay they show up. You could also do like I did buy an entire truck for parts keep what you need and sell the rest and make a profit.

6 cyl. vs 8

The 8 cylinder Battery is mounted on the Right hand side while the 6 is on the left. The 8 cylinder tray is available at most catalog stores, I can not find a tray for a 6

Watch the www.fordbarn.com items for sale. With all the guys going to V8's they should be a dime a dozen. If you aren't restoring back to orginal you could put one on the firewall like the mid 50's C***Y pickups had in them.

Bill- I have a battery tray for a 48 f-1 that is for the straight 6 set-up. Are they the same as the 1950 location? Pretty sure they are. How do I contact you? Can send a photo snail mail or by e-mail if you wish. Terry
