I have a 1992 F-150 4x4, 302, AOD, 4.11 gears.
I am having trouble with the transmission. It has a loud squeel. It shifts ok and everything and feels fine except for the noise. The first thing I did was change the fluid. I put the truck up on jacks, and removed the rear wheels and brake drums. I put the truck in neutral and spun the driveshaft by hand and heard the squeel. So I know it's not the brakes. The gear oil is good, and the driveshaft U joints are good and freshly greased. Does anyone have any ideas?
