Trans slipping between shifts

My 05 has about 7k miles on it and I noticed the other day that the trans slipped between gears (either 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th). I've searched through few threads (See https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...=trans+problem ) and a few people stated that it was a solenoid. I'd like to know if replacing the solenoid fixed the problem or did the dealership end up replacing the transmission.

Mine does this also but was told it was normal. It learns how you drive so I'm told but don't know if I believe it. 10k and no problems . Quess time will tell and hope its before 36k.

i had a 2003 and have a 2005 now and both of them have done this. had 50000 miles on the 03 when i sold it and have 10000 on the 05. no problems with either of them other than the slip you talk about.
