I have an 2004 F-250, 6.0 auto trans. 32000 miles. transmission flares up at about 25-30mph under normal acceleration. dealer said it was between 3and 4 gear they had it apart twice replacing solenoid and then valve body. still has same problem! has anyone had this kind of problem ? dealer say's they want to put a computer on it and drive it one time to see if they can duplicate it . but it's random and may not do it when they drive it. i don't know how many times i can keep taking the truck back there i'm thinking of lemon law the truck but would rather have it fixed.
Tell them you're tired of them jacking with it and you want a new transmission. If they've tried twice already, it's time to move to more serious efforts like replacing the whole thing!
Give the truck to them to fix !
they are hoping you'll wait till your over 36,000
You can forget lemon law with that many miles on the vehicle!
unless you kept every receipt for work that didn't get fixed and gave them 3 chances or what your states lemon law rules state.
If this dealer can't fix it take it to another one
are there any other symptoms you can tell us about ?
Are you getting iratic shifting or abs lights on ?
