BTW, Its not perfect. I Do have to replace the drivers side floor pan. It has some cancer. But so far that is the only place I have found. The cab corners seem fine, as well as the bed. Take a look in my gallery https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...&albumid=18146

I can't stand it! Man that thing is a coat of paint, and some minor league body work away from being something to show. I don't mean perfect but man a 40yr old truck with a paint job turns heads. Heck, mine does even with old white, rust, and primer. They just don't make em' like that anymore. You won the Lottery on this one buddy. Twin mirrors, chrome bumpers, and all. Unbelievable!! Thanks for the shots.

I would really like to do a frame off resto on it. But I told myself that I would not get to involved with the truck.
But at minimum I will beat out the dent in the hood and try to level it with filler, then throw on some paint.
I might even fix the driver side floor board before the cancer starts to spread.
I just need to get the interior stripped so I can weld a patch piece in.
Welcome to the Slick world, hungry monkey; That's a great find and hopefully this forum will keep you from stripping your truck to cover a $150 expense; sounds awesome of a Slick; just to pass on alittle info; you mention the button above your ingintion switch; well that's the windshield washer activator;
Boy I wish I could stumble across a buck fifty truck around here in that condition;
again congrat's and weclome to the Slick's.
Not a bad looking truck, making me jeolous because I still have a week before I go to pick it up. (been waiting for almost a month). I also noticed it has a sliding rear window, very cool. That is one thing I would like to add to my truck in the spring. Looks like you got a great find!!! Have fun with it!!!
