I've installed a plastic console from Wally world, it has two drink cup holders, a coin collect caddy, a compartment to hold my 8 tracks; also a detachable tray for I guess napkins or tissue etc. I place it on top of my floor mat on the trans hump. I purchase it about 3 yrs ago. I cut out an old lighting bolt emblem from a dry rotted floor mat and glue it onto the top of the compartment cover that holds my 8 tracks. Once I figure out how to down load my digitial pics and installed them I'll take a shot of it to show ya; what i'm talking about.

The falcon consoles are avalible as a repop. Need to do some googleing for falcon restoration parts suppliers.

Here is a start for parts to restore an original one. I have seen on line but dont have the link for complete new console bases and lids.

I built one for mine. But decided that I didn't want the console cause it made it hard to get m wife to sit next to me with the console in the way. So I took it out and gave it to a friend. But you can get premade ones at GI Joes, WalMart, Fred Myers, And any automotive parts house has them to.
