Headlight adjustment

Check your owners manual as it has the procedure and nice pictures. On the 05, there is no side to side adjustment.

EPDP99, the vertical adjustment is on top of the headlight housing next to the grill. You can use a 4mm socket to turn the adjustment scew.

Good timely topic for me, I get the angry headlight flashes every time I operate at night while towing.

Wouldn't the RIGHT thing to do be to take 5 minutes to adjust them? When I was younger driving at night was no problem but as we age our night vision deteriorates. When someone has high beams on or poorly adjusted headlights it makes it very hard for me to see. Creating a dangerous situation is in no ones best interest. The reason people FLASH you is to give you INFORMATION(that your headlights are blinding them). Use that info and try to correct the problem, not flash back like a smart ***.

Age is not your friend - I heard Viagra helps your night vision.

I dont flash to be a smart ***. I flash because people flash me so many times it is to show my brights werent on. If I wasnt concerned about it does it make sense that I would even waste the space to ask the question? Clearly Not! It shows I asked to do the right thing and get them adjusted. I aslo added I hope the specs are the same for the lifted truck vs stock because THEY ARE already adjusted but occasionaly still get flashed so dont jump to conclusions that Im trying to be a punk.

BB and 99 - none of that is useful - not being subtle this time! If the gene pool is too shallow to swim - take a shower!

99- Sorry for the tone of my last post. I interpreted it that you got some pleasure in "flashing" people rather than fixing the problem. When I got my 2004 F-250 a few people flashed me so the next day I adjusted the headlights. Problem solved. Speaking of headlights, have you tryed Sylvania Silver Stars bulbs? A much whiter and brighter bulb.

I tried them in my 99 but havent spent the $55 they are up to now on this pig yet. I was thinking about trying the PIAA but havent heard much about them.Plus I wasnt ready so I havent researched whether they are legal or not.
