Talking Brake plumbing progress

Well I finally got some time to work on the '66. I replumbed the front brake lines to the prop/metering valve and mounted the valve today.
I will tackle the prop valve to master cylinder lines next I hope to have some life in the ol' truck soon!! It's time to get the disc brake hardware so I can install the calipers and rotors.
How are your projects going??

Mines progressing, working on my frame mounts now.

Got the CV brakes and steering column mounted, though the CV booster is HUGE. Need to get a smaller diameter booster so I'll have room to run the computer lead where I want it.

I'll post some progress pics next weekend, got two rolls to sort through.

William, I mounted it to the inside of the frame between the riveted crossmember and the transmission crossmember. It is a little tight for the lines, but it was the best place I could find! I can reach all the fittings, just getting them bent to line up with the ports is difficult.

Mike, glad to hear that progress is being made!

That is where I'll put mine. The engine and transmission are out and I have removed the crossmember and steering gear as well. Working in this area should be easy now!

I forgot to mention that I spaced it out about a half inch with some short pieces of tubing to clear my 1/2" fuel line. It has also made the connecting of lines easier, there is room for the wrench to turn without hitting the frame.

That isn't fair!!! It should be a breeze with all that hardware out of the way! Good luck.

Thumbs up Another step!

Well I managed to get the lines run from the master to the prop valve today, I should be able to hook the rear line up next time.

Good tip about the spacer! I had not thought of that. Thanks! With everything off this should be a fairly uncomplicated deal.
