Mazda shifter bushing
Replaced the leaking tranny plugs yesterday and saw that the shifter bushing was all in pieces. Now I'm letting the silicon on the plugs set up for about a day as recommended. My question is, since the shifter bushing was shattered anyway, can I put the shifter back on just to run up and pick up the new bushing? I don't see any problem but I don't have another ride and I'm trying to be careful not to screw anything else up. Thanks.
