A good way to tell if it's the door seals is to have someone ride along with you and pull the door in when the whistling is occuring. You can pull it by the window frame. If the noise changes you've found the problem and may be able to cure it by adjusting the door in a bit.
I used to have a horrible whistling comming from the passenger side at all speeds, even when I was stopped. It went away when I stopped riding my little brother around.
i don't have side exhaust..its coming from cowl under passenger feet area.. i have noticed that that the "whistle" is weaker just after changing out my air filter??????..but the intake air is on the other side of the truck..i kind of lean towards the fresh air vent...but don't have a clue how to find out for sure..
I don't think air is making my whistle. It may be a rear end whine bc its not a high pitched whistle it has more of a whine sound to it. If it is the rear end, is this normal or should it be looked at??
