i rented a car trailer that looked like it had been beat with a ugly stick. after it's use my 4x8 trailer lights won't work right. both turn signals seem to work ok also the brake lights work as do the hazards. but... when i turn on my headlights the night lights won't come on. i bought a plug in tester and the results are the same. i checked all of the fuses by the e-brake as i don't have an owners manual to tell me what is what and the all seemed to be good. anyone have any ideas? thanks in advance, matt
We're psychic so we know what year your truck is....
Download an owner's manual from www.fleet.ford.com if they have your years available.
Check the TWO underhood fuseboxes. The really big one and the small one that is mounted almost out of sight on the inside of the fenderwell on the driver's side. Trailer light fuses are in BOTH boxes, depending on the function.
it was number 2 under the hood aux power fuse #7 which i am glad happened because number 10 was also broke and it is supposed to be my airbag monitor. thanks, matt
