I am torn between the Performer and the stealth intake.. I'm installing an 85 351 in my 76 EB. I have long tube headers for it. Going to run the Holley truck carb.. Not sure which cam yet. Anyone like one intake over the other.
they're both dual plane and open to allow plenty of air flow well beyond the capabilities of the engine. i think it's prolly just your personal preference!

just my .02 worth!

What did you mean well beyond the capabilities of the engine? Thanks
"well beyond the capabilities of the engine" most likely means that since the Stealth intake will flow up to 6800 RPM (i think), you'll never be revving a 351 that high in a bronco. a low-end torquer should never see 6000+ RPM. for what it's worth, i'm building a 351W for a bronco, and i'm using the Stealth.
dk - what kind of heads are you planning on? i'm looking at AFR 185's. everyone says that a 351 needs more than 170cc's on the intake to breathe properly. and in case you haven't looked at it, Comp Cams XTreme 4x4 X4250H. might be a good choice. oh yeah...why long tube headers? won't that kill your low end?

Long tube headers are your best bet for low end as long as you keep the primary tubes small. Say 1.5 or smaller.
As Ken75 said.... Long tubes are better for low end power. I did buy 1 1/2" primarys. I also like the 185 heads. I will prob buy them unless something else grabs my eye, or I find a deal on something else that I can't pass up.
