The part was around $10 at the dealership.But like I said, wouldnt all the rest of the accessories switched through the ignition still work.

I did not think of trying other accessories in the truck when the key was in the lock (off) position. All i tried was the radio, but like i said i didn't ever check it before replacment of the switch so i can't be sure if it should work or not with the key out.
I will try the other accessories once i get back home sunday. I am anxious to see what its doing, i sure will hate ot have to adjust that dumb switch again, but if thats what it takes then i guess thats what it takes.
