I have a 95 F150 with the 351 5.8 speed density. I jsut bought a good sized travel trailer and I could use a little more power. The motor has about 112000 on it, and I love the truck. I would rather spend some money and time to get a little more juice out of it if possible rather than trade for a newer 3/4 ton or diesel. I am not looking to get the power of a diesel dont get me wrong but realy could use a little more from this motor. I hope this is the right forum for this. I was wondering about a electric fan or something, I have already put a K and N type filter kit on it. Any thoughts would be great.
Make sure that the motor is running right to begin with. Tune it up, read codes.

Are your cats plugged? What kind of exhaust is on the truck. Stock is not the best configuration for pulling, but don't go too big or you will lose low-end torque.
If it is an auto tranny, it may be slipping. If it is auto, turn-off the overdrive. Trailer pulling is hard on these older autos with overdrive. It will lug the engine and eventually destroy the tranny.
