A guy at work had a picture of a 2007 Prototype SVT Superduty.

It was mono-chromatic, in bright yellow. A crew cab and it appeared to be lowered and two wheel drive.

Power was claimed to be a eaton supercharged V-10. Ford claimed this would be the most powerful truck ever produced.

Doing a search now to see if I can find information.

 

Was it called "Tsunami", it was a hoax going around.

 

That's what it was called, and i guess the hoax got me. Perhaps that's why I can't find a thing about it.

Ahh but Ford did use the F250 Superduty as a testbed for the 5.4L GT motor!

I remember reading about it in HOTROD. I guess the those test beds really could haul some serious tail around the track!

yeah the wheels, tires look fake as well as some of the shadowing. I can't imagine there would be much of a market for a truck like that...but I could be wrong!

 

i would love the motor in mine if they made it. esp. since ford racing a super charger kit for the 3 valve v10 listed in the heavy hauler catalog.

 

Some cool SVT signs would look good on my SuperDuty.

Not going to happen. They even stopped making the Lightning.

 

I always wanted a Lightning. Who would not want a truck that capped at carrying 500lbs in th ebed? I mean that is like 2.5 friends can sit back there (with no drinks)
