Can you tell me if I have to remove the door first and then the hinge from the "A" Pillar pocket, or can I simply loosen the "A" Pillar Bolts and remove the door and then the hinge?
Is there an order to this operation that works best?
I've been trying to adjust my drivers side door with limited success and have come to suspect the top hinge has too much play in the Hinge Pin itself so I was going to replace the Hinge.
Any advice based on you experience would be appreciated
The hinge does not pull straight out from the pocket as I recall so it is easier (if not the only way) to remove it if the door is removed first. It needs to move toward the inside of the cab as it is pulled out. I know this isn't clear but I suggest removing the door.
