Guys, my front drivers door is rubbing against my front panel at the bottom. I checked the pin and it does seem to have a little play in it (but really not much)...even when I lift the door, it still rubs. I see that the hinge is fixed to the truck with 3 bolts per hinge. My question is, can I remove the door from the hinge to gain access to the bolts that hold the hinge to the truck, loosen the bottom hinge bolts and set it to the rear slightly? In other words, is there some allotted play in the hinge mounting bracket?
Go down a few pages or do a search, there was a pretty thorough coverage of this a few days ago with pics and stuff. I have a similar problem and found that thread
Yes u can I hang door from garage door track with a strap. The when you unbolt door it will be supported (way easier than putting something under it to hold.) You then can access the hinges. You can do pins/bushings in truck but . If door has that much sag I bet the upper or botom is worn to much for fix to last . (just look once pin is out if the bushing is worn so much that its wearing hinge its self replace it.

Thanks Lost...that's the thing, not too much in terms of sag...seems like the whole door is mounted forward too much, (it's not like the bottom jams while the top has a gaping space). Will check it out once I'm shovelled out from the storm.
