yes... there is a long thread on this in this forum... do a search for acetone and you'll find it... i have tried it and i noticed an increase in mpg, but not 35%, and i don't think i would use this with every tank of fuel...

I have absolutly no concern for what acetone might do to the seals. The ratio is 1.75 oz acetone to 10 gallons of fuel for diesel. One oz = 2 tablespoons. So 1.75 oz is about 3.5 tablespoons per 10 gallons. Hardly more than a trace amount in the fuel.
