Okay i know i've been gone from here but i am alive and well been having some vehicle problems lately my escort has probly a blocked or closed to blocked catalyc converter and have not been able to get in the shop and my 87 needs a new starter which i have now but i don't have the right tools like the right size extension or wobble. So i'm having to drive my trophy winning beater back and forth to work and it's not fun filling that beast up every 2 days. that is the reason i could not make it the g2g last weekend and i have to work this weekend. probly won't be able to make any g2g till nov we have to go on nights 4 on and 3 off starting on the sept 18 till last week in Oct. Well i hope everything is well and good in kansas land.
Thanks Del but i think my uncle will get the starter changed out while i'm at work he has the right tools. As for the escort the guy i have do my work on vehicles has a converter for the it. But thank you all the same.
Finally new starter on the 87 today uncle had to wake me to tell me that rolls my eyes. So i parked the beater and now is driving the 87 monday escort goes the shop get that fixed and back into having gas miliage again.
Way to go Thomas. I did the front brakes on the yota today. 178,000 on the original set of pads as far as I can remember. I also got the back seat back in the 64 Tbird after fun and games with a dead rat. Boy can they create a smell. I had to tear out the original insulation and fix some chewed wires, clean out the rat crap etc. Going to cruise to Cottonwood Falls tomorrow morning with the bird.
Thanks Chuckles yeah the only vehicle that was able to drive was the Beast but now i have the 87 back again. Yeah mice like that foam glad ya got it taken care of. Well ya got time Jack.
