ok lets clear up MY confusion. Is the truck a pre 77.5 Highboy or an after 77.5 lowboy? If it is a highboy then the info I posted applies. If it is a lowboy then my info really doesn't apply. I believe for the after 77.5 lowboys you can still get a 8" lift. You could also get the rear springs from an even larger lift kit seperate. Then you would just have to figure out how to lift the front to match it. If you have a highboy then a 4" skyjacker lift and the bushwhacker cutouts will clear a 40" tire and should allow for all the flex the lift kit is capable of unless you have modded the truck for some extreme flex. Look to NTW if the lift kit doesn't come with longer brake lines. If you have a lowboy and you end up needing alot of lift to clear those tires then I would look to deaver spring for custom lift springs. They have a good rep for their springs and they don't just re-arch a stock spring. They make their own springs. I haven't studied the lowboy suspension so I don't know what is interchangable between the models.
by the way, I had 33's on my highboy and I wheeled it with no rub. I don't know about 35's though on a stock suspension. It would depend on the amount of flex and how rough you are with it. If you are talking about 35's on a stock lowboy then I don't know if they would even fit. Hope that clears up what I was trying to say.
