E4OD hard shifting
94 Ford Bronco, 351. Last year I had my E4OD rebuilt in part because the front seal was leaking and the tranny shifted hard intermittently (plus 125K on truck). The shop put in all the updates and eventually they installed a new TPS. The tranny still shifts hard intermittently and I will know when its in that mode because the cruise control will not work. I'm wondering if I should look at the ECM computer as the culprit? I've read about a ground strap and a relay on the driver's fender well. Any help or opinions appreciated. Thanks!
