Trash, just like the fuel line magnets. There are several discussions on those devices in this and other forums, use the <SEARCH> function to find them.
What next you are going to tell me that I can't run my engine with no oil just because I used Slick50
Which brings up the question since that stuff "chemically bonds to the metal" how does it know what metal not to bond too?
That Tornado unit seems to be a good start on designing a restrictor plate! -hehe
If spinning the air worked the automakers would have designed in swirl plates a long time ago. They can do most anything when they control all the molds and tooling, for very little cost / unit.
As far as oil additives go... My Uncle that worked as an Engineer at a Ford plant once told me that if an additive worked it would already be spec'd to be in the oil or fuel. The Automakers will do most anything to squeeze out another 0.01 MPG on the CAFE standards, as long as it sells :-)
All of those teflon particles get filtered out by a decent oil filter.
By chemicly binding to all of the parts, it binds the engine together so it gets unlimited mileage, -while being towed back to the shop
