Welcome to FTE, your going to learn a ton on this site. I'm certain Tim will post here shortly to welcome you as well. As far as your parking lights blowing a fuse....You mentioned your trailer harness like you already suspect it. As big a pain as it may sound, and is. I would start by doing a full inspect of the pig tail all the way back to the frame. Look for corrosion, broken wires etc. Also follow your wires as far as you can and see if the harness is rubbing anywhere. You didn't mention what truck you have and I didn't look at your stats. If you have the kind of harness that plugs in between the tail light plugs, I would take that connection apart and clean it. If you have a truck that has the stock wiring harness for trailers just follow the wires as far as possible. If you have no luck there, pull all the parking light bulbs and inspect for corrosion or anything else. And keep your eyes open for critter carnage...i.e. chewed wires, nests, etc. If your truck sat up for any amout of time that could be the case. Anyway, that's about how I would attack it. Hope that helps.
