Hello to everyone
I am havind a problem with the illumination of the odometer. At times it gets dim and even goes out all together. Pushing and allowing the reset to snap back sometimes corrects the problem, or there may be no problem for several days at a time. The Ford manual has no in depth info on this problem.
Hope someone can help.

i just pulled the instrument cluster this morning and disassembed the circuit board and soldered the cold joint on the back. takes about an hour or little more if you know what you are doing. dakotas photos help a lot. getting the cluster out of the dash is the hardest part and that aint too bad.
