Does anyone on here own a bazooka or know if they are better than enclosed subwoffers any comments repost please
A friend of mine had 4 10" bazooka's in his car, it sounded great. He then switched to 4 15" subs, and it was louder, but didn't sound that great. I think if your concerned about space, it's a good option. I would stay away from the "bazooka-like" stuff and get the original.
They're not better than enclosed subwoofers, but for just adding a little bit of low end punch they work well. I have to agree with bremen, don't get an offbrand of it either. The original is worth the money, as long as you're not expecting something huge out of it. But for low end fill, they're a good choice.
I have a 6" bazooka (I'll hook it to a bazooka 3 channel 250w amp) coming this week for my Standard cab 90 F-150, I'm just look for some really clean sound out of the truck. I'll let you know how it sounds.
Sounds good. For a standard cab, I think it's a good choice due to size restrictions. But just don't expect anything huge from it. It will have some low end punch like I said, but not bone jarring bass.
I have a 6" with built in amp (85 watt, older one off EBAY) that works well in my crew cab F350. Balances out the sound well. It won't shake the neighborhood windows when you drive by, but it rounds out the dynamics inside the truck well.

Reason: spelling
And that's what I'm looking for. I'll take some picts of the install of the system later this week. The whole system includes: 6" passive bazooka sub, 3 channel bazooka 250 watt amp, Boss Audio NEO-60 6-1/2" Component System speakers, and a Panasonic CQ-C9700U CD/MP3/WMA Receiver. I figure with this system my old classic rock and roll should sound pretty and fit the truck really well.
