53 pickup bed
ok i have saw alot of ch*** trucks in the last couple years with the later model beds on them particulary the 47-55 1st series. it looks like the beds from late 80's to current stepside what later ford stepside/flareside will work on my 53 if any body knows or has seen one let me know the year or send me a picture i'll give my email at the request thanks, wayne.

I personally know of only one 53-56 Ford running an late model Ford bed - it was the cover truck on one of the two major truck magazines within the past 2 months or so. They didn't get into it too mjuch but I got the impression from the article that it took major work to resize the bed to fit (i.e. correctly repositioning the wheel wells).
You might want to expand your search to those late model Ch*v beds too. I think the lines would likely work on our trucks also.... (Plan to explore that that idea next myself)....
