Question New Predator/codes

I just puled this info off the diablo site and would like to know if any of these are common or if i need to get cracking on them. Don't know if they are there with stock program will put that back in in the morning. The truck runs great in the 60hp program and the 100hp wow!!!! there is something slipping at wide open -trans/belts/TIRES- that setting will shorten the life of a truck.
Any help or input THANKS.

congrats on your predator... one reccomendation... run it with the tranny set on the "hard" shift firmness... better yet... get the sonnax kit put in your tranny... you'll love it... the P1211 Injector Control Pressure Above/Below Desired is a code that i've gotten... it says this is a normal code for a modified diesel, and it makes sense... you are dumping way more fuel that the ultra conservative original tune was ever going to dump... that means much higher pressures in the injectors under certain conditions... i have not seen the other codes that you mention... i will say i have gotten some codes that i think may be erronious... have fun with your predator, but keep an eye on those gauges..!

will do and thanks... one other thing... i noticed my tranny "hunting" for gears when i was using the 100hp tune... i didn't figure this was good for the tranny, so i don't use that tune much anymore, besides, unless you are planning on smoking some ricers or doing a quarter mile run... 60hp or 85hp tunes are plenty for dailly driving...! take it easy on that tranny... you mule is capable of making alot more torque than it can handle for very long...

The 1211 and the 1690 were caused by your mods (predator and wastegate unplugged). The other two I can't explain. P0603 is a KAM error that is normal when installing a programmer, but I've never heard of a P0602....and a P0605 is a ROM error in the computer, not a cylinder misfire...that's a gas engine deal.

I recommend you use the Predator to clear the codes then re-test after a drive cycle.

I have eliminated setting all the codes except for the p1211 code. Just got back from a trip from my home in the Los Angeles area to Tacoma WA and back. Took my Predator tuner with me. Using the 100hp tune that I have been using exclusively for the past 14,000 miles , I get that code almost every time at WOT going up long grades in Oregon doing 95mph passing everything. Every third time I set this code, the check engine light came on. Then while cruising at 80mph, I plug in the Predator and clear the code. The check engine light goes out as soon as I hit the clear button. Yes I can read the code and clear any codes while the car is moving at 80mph! Too cool, and safe according the the techs at Diablo cause I called them just to make sure when I got back.
I just changed the fuel filter when I got back, and it was dark. Been using Diesel Kleen too for the whole trip to WA. After starting it up with the new filter, the engine seems smoother, and has better throttle response. Maybe it will be harder to set this code now with a clean fuel filter. But I got the Predator in the glove compartment just in case I need it.

Thanks for the help I am on this site all the time reading and learning. I work 24hr shift at the fire dept and the guys all say I should be a expert on the diesel. But I'm far from It. I would do more posting on answers to questions but if i am not 100% on the subject I'm not going to say to much.
