Code 11 is "PASS". The computer is working, that's all. "System OK, test sequence complete"
Code 18...well, my emissions manuals have a few meanings:
1. No tach signal to ECM (c)
2. Spout circuit open (r) (Except 4.0)
3. Erratic IDM, input to ECM or pout circuit open (c)
c = continuous memory
r = engine running
If you know what tests you got the codes from, great. I believe code 18 is one of the flags for a fried TFI coil.

you are right with 18 being a flag for a fried tfi componet. the coils have their own codes though. 18 is a flag for a bad tfi module. pull the tfi and have it tested. if it is good reset the system run it for 10 mins do a short drive that puts it through the rpm band then recheck for codes.
