Having problems with my printer

I'm one of those people who have printers but use it like once a year. I really need to use it today and the paper keeps jamming. Everytime the printer goes to take in printer it's always gets pulled a lot quicker on the right causing it to jam. I have an Epson Stylus Photo 825 and it's always been a good printer, never had this happen before. Epson charges a fee for technical support and I already know that it's probably not even worth the wait time no less the fee.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Nevermind guys, we figured it out. Someone had been making a Cat-5 cable and cut it over the printer the little pieced fell into it. Luckly I got it all cleaned out and it prints beautifully again.

Many thanks,
Chris

Is the paper selector set up for envelope printing maybe? Not really familiar with your model but something that might help is to turn it off and unplug the cable to the system, then try hooking it back up and turning it on. Also after sitting for a while it might help to remove all the paper and let it cycle through a few times looking for the paper, the rollers may have developed a flat spot.

Your using an Epson 825? Well, there's your problem!

My HP 812C is five years old and never gives me trouble. It's a work horse. I'm fortunate.
