Windshield washer help
Recently purchased a 1997 F-150, no owners manual...so I was hoping to find an online manual, specificly looking to find list of fuses.
Which leads me to my next need.......the windshield washer is not working...cannot hear the pump run, so the first thing I would love to check of course is the fuses...anyone happen to know which number it happens to be on this model year?
the last thing I was looking for, is.....if it is not the fuse causing the failure....any ideas where next to look?
And oh yeah...before any one suggests the obvious...the washer tank is full.
Thanks all!

Go to www.motorcraft.com under tech resources for the owners manual.
About $100 at Ford - Haynes also tells you the ritual for getting it off - the only special tool needed is a torx screwdriver. It's not hard to do.
Locate your windshield washer jug and look near the bottom or side for the pump that is attached to it. Check to make sure that the electrical connection is plugged on.
You can also put a voltmeter to the electrical plug connection, put the washer on, and see if you have voltage going to the meter. Voltage to the meter would indicate that your pump is bad.
My 96 cougar sprung a small leak from the washer pump, so i removed the pump, applied some JB KWIK to the pump seams and saved myself $22 for a new pump.
Good luck, update your progress.
