Headers

Was needing some recomondations.I have a rebuilt 390 abit over stock performance cam ,30% bore out, 30 over stock pistons. 4barral and holley 600.Was putting back in my galaxie 500 convertable.

Now my question is i want to put headers on it .Nothing like compitition stuff but reasonabley priced headers for abit more horse power.

Can someone direct me to a site for the 1967 ford 390 engine match-up ?

Info on what i should do would be appircated.

Go to the Hedmen header site, or Hooker header site, or Crites ford site would probably be your best bet.... Just do a google search for the above mentioned sites

hedmen definlty has the headers you need. i find ordering them thru summit racing gets you a good price. but if you search ebay you can find the stock cast iron headers for that galaxie. they go pretty cheap and they are a stock part. I think we got the ones we put on for like 37 bucks.

Just bought a set of Dynomax ceramics for just over 2 bens at Summit. Mines a 65 though, and not sure if they would fit a 67, but also don't know why not.

The cast iron manafolds that fordlover was talking about were the header type like the ones that Ford used on the 406 engines, they were a cast iron shorty stack manafold.

Yes, but if you look at Dearborn Classics.com I have seen that they have had them in the past for $500 or less. It has been awhile seence I looked.
