The older setup (auto hubs and stuff) I think is a waste.
My '00 F150 has some kind of vacuum thing which engages the half-shafts and a motor in the t-case. works pretty good so far, I think the key is to engage 4x4 as often as possible to keep the motor and vacuum things from freezing/gauling up.
i personally really like the milemarkers hubs. they seem to have a lot more metal in them than the warns. i have had them on my powerstroke for several thousand miles and they still provided smooth operation and clean looks for the hub!
I second the clean looks. Any good quality lockouts will deff. have a higher bling factor than an suto- not just because they work a lot better, but because they really do look good....

Thx, it was exactly the trend i thought would be good, still, i will drive on my old hubs until they break, then i´ll replace them (and it looks that will be some time more)
