Nope. It's good through February 28th, 2006, it can be used with the Ford Family Plan pricing, but it can't be combined with other limited offers, like college grad rebate.

Double check that Jeff- we had a AQHA bounce back w/ Family Plan (no private offers can be combined with F&F ).

Whether it will apply with Family Plan or not, is it for certain that the AQHA rebate is good through February 28, 2006? I just joined it last night ($35 to join...) and it would be good to know the latest that it can be used. Thanks Jeff and Ernie.

I ran a SmartVINCENT before I answered that question, and it showed AQHA compatible with the Ford Family Plan Dealer Commission. I just ran another one a moment ago, different vehicle line, and it shows the same thing. Ford says that what we print out on SmartVINCENT is carved in stone, and that there's no arguing with it. Ford has used SmartVINCENT enough times to take money from us, so we're certainly not afraid to use it against them, as well. Great working relationship, don't you think?

Interesting- I'm hoping this isn't a regional thing...

Aqha

I joined the AQHA partly in hopes of taking advantage of Ford's $500.00 back thru AQHA. I ordered my truck on June 14th. I picked up my truck on Aug. 8th right after the Ford anounced the 2006 Super Duty would be eligible for Family Plan pricing... When I picked up my truck I had my AQHA paperwork/PIN in hand. I asked if Ford was still honoring the discount/rebate for AQHA. My sales guy was unsure, so he asked his "manager". His "manager was unsure so they made a copy of my paperwork and said if it was valid, I'd recieve the "check in the mail"... I really wasn't too hopeful that this would be the case.... When I left, I was just happy to be in my new truck....

I just recieved a check IN THE MAIL from Ford for $500.00!!! It states on the check "AQHA Discount"!!!...

Polar, I'm sure you have heard by now if it's a regional thing or not, but my information is that I live in So. CA., but I purchased my truck in Escondido (San Diego), CA... Not bad - 11 day waiting period... I think this kind of offsets the $300 plus I just spent today on hood liner, daytime running lights, glove box light, wheel well liners etc. etc... (things Ford should have on the truck already...)

American Quarter Horse Association

http://www.aqha.com

If you're a member of AQHA for at least 60 days (I think...) prior to taking delivery on the truck, you get a $500 rebate.

AQHA = American Quarter Horse Association

You pay $35.00 (40.00?) for a years membership to this fine organazation. Check out their website for more information on what it is and what the subscription dues go for.

One of the perks to belonging to the AQHA is that when you purchase a new Ford product, you get an additional $500.00 off. (or like in my case, Ford mails you a check). Not bad... You do have to be a member for at LEAST 60 days before taking advantage of this offer. Also, it is NOT compatible with other "private" offers like the Student discount, Military Discount etc. etc....Before the family plan started, it was compatible with the likes of the Home Depot offer and the Rebates Ford was offering... I think Ford and the AQHA only have an agreement until early (Feb.?) next year, but who knows, they may extend it. For those THINKING of a 2007, it may not be a bad thing to think ahead.... I'm sure there are a few threads on this by people who know a LOT more than I do on this subject. All I know, is that it paid off for me....
