Fuel Sending Unit Float
Outside of mail order, is there anywhere else to get a sending unit float for a cab tank?

try a pill bottle of the size that fits the holder, you'd be surprised how well that works...

$6.29, that's what it cost to fix.
Incidently, the guy said the sending unit, itself, is available under some mid-70's superceeded number. I thought the sender wasn't available from the dealer.

Carpenter's has one made by Stewart-Warner for $65 + shipping.
