Lariat97...try working out in the morning. It sounds like you're outside, and doing some kind of labor, but a even a light workout in the morning makes you feel like a million bucks.
However, I slept in today, and right after I turned my alarm off and laid back down, Mr. Karma stopped in, and my shoulder popped out of the socket as I was rolling over half asleep. I woke up REAL fast, and then just whined like a baby for a bit. I thought I had that under control after going to the gym for almost a year now, and almost everyday bringing back the muscle that used to be there, but I guess I just need to keep an eye on it.
I'm going to try and keep this thread going by updating my progress on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.
I hope you'll join me in posting your progress, either good or bad.
I'm also going to check out those books that 1bigsteve posted (#26).
Since I started my walking excercise and eating a bit better, I've noticed a definite improvement in stamina, clothes fitting slightly loose and most important, a better attitude.
"Bad Attitude" yup that's what they told me at the Air Force recruiting office after I spent 1 1/2 years working with them to prevent the draft. Even today I may have "Bad Attitude" at times. The longer I live the more I hate people.

After week one, I'm down 10 pounds! Woo Hoo. The mahor change has been eating less. I only ever eat about twice a day. I have stopped eating junk food, and drinking pop... In a week I'm down to 250.
