Oil Pan Drain Plug
New here to the forum. I have a 2005 Ford Escape 4 Cylinder and need a new Oil Drain plug. The Old one is stripped out on the end and can only be removed with Vise Grips. Have asked several Ford Dealers but they don't have them in stock. Does anyone know where I may obtain one. Appreciate it.

Might want to do an oil pan drain plug upgrade while you're at it.

Thumbs up on the Fumoto valve. I have one on my 2001 F150. Just got a 2005 Escape 3.0L and the Fumoto valve P/N is the same as that used on my truck. I needed to order the adapter also because of the recessed drain plug.
F107 and Adapter ADP107 Ford F107 + ADP107 N/A $28.95
Note: this is for the 3.0L Duratech engine (don't know what the 4 cylinder uses).

Any Valvoline Instant Oil Change (or any quick change shop) will have one to sell/give you, they keep lots on hand to replace the ones they strip. Hey, it happens!

You might try mazda like pilot10 suggests.. as the tribute is the same exact vehicle.
I'm surprised though... I've never seen one round off or strip out... maybe a quick lube guy used the wrong size wrench (I hate those places)
