I just replaced the oil pan on my 67 2X4 with the 300 I-6 using Banjopicker66's excellent advice. The only thing I would like to add is that the radiator must be unbolted to lift for clearance when sliding the pan out. Also, the I-6 motor mounts have a bolt that will get in the way when supporting the engine with 2x4s. This issue is solved by cutting a V slot in the end of the boards with a handsaw.
