I am repainting my truck, and need to know which would be better. To remove the cab totally, and take the doors, cab, fenders, etc... down to the paint place on my friends flatbed. Or option two, remove the interior, and drive the truck to the paint shop sitting on a bucket. If option two is used, how will I rustproof the underside of the cab, where it bolts on, and how will I rustproof the firewall?
I am most tempted to go with option one, but how difficult/hours involved is it to remove the cab off a '91 F350 diesel? Has anyone else here removed their cab? I want to completely rustproof the frame before winter, so if I didn't remove the cab, how would I rustproof where the cab bolts to the frame?
