Rustproofing?
Hey, I currently am working on rustproofing my truck. I am in the process of grinding all the surface rust off (a flatbed, oh boy...) Once I have all the rust off, how would you suggest I rustproof it? I was thinking about spraying the whole undercarriage/flatbed with Zinc Chromate, and then a few coats of Zero-Rust. Any other ideas? Also, how would I go about taking off the back axle to paint, and rustproof it? The truck is a 1 ton, and the rear axle is a dually. Any ideas on jacking it up, and sliding the rear axle/leaf spring mounts out?
