E4od only has reverse

E4od only has reverse
got a 1993 ford f-150 with a 302 4x4. its an AOD transmission. Only has reverse. Transmission fluid looks blackish with a metallic glittery look to it. Any indication it could be the pump?? but still has reverse. Or could the forward cluthes be bad and causing it to burn the fluid and cause that glittery look???
