rc people
if you have a channel reverser for your 3rd channel you can do it yourself, but you need a complete front end of the back
i think thats how it worked but i maybe mistaken
i going off what i remember from the picture, it might of had a special chassis
all you REALLY need is the bracket and instructions. im sure it can be done again. i just dont have time to figure it out for myself!
hey walt how do you like your rs4, ive started a project with a friend to make a rs4 .30 power or .32, .32 is big for my savage and it wieghs 13 pounds. stock rs4 have .15 tops
its in the designing stage right now. i plan on using drifiting chassis, so that weigh the motor is in the center, just so it keeps most of the weight centered. maybe using a savvy tranny becuase its heavy duty, and from there its going to be all custom. ill fill yall in when i buy the kits

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
see around at oklahomas main track, the only mts that are runned there on savages for the nitro class, losi lst, (1 tmaxx) out of 30 trucks, the electric side ther all emaxxxes because it hard to find a real good electric monster truck, stock.
like i said i ran my truck into the tire of a f150, bent a shock shaft, thats pretty common with all mts, and had a pin slide out. on a t it would shatter. i know t maxx people say that would destroy there trucks.
think about it this way, the reason most people on tv and hobbyshops say ts are good is because theyll make a higher profit off replacement parts for the t, theres only one unbiased shop in tulsa oklahoma, he has all 3 of the major nitro mts, a t, a savy, a lst
he says as overall winner in his book is the savvy, for unique design that works is the lst, on upgradeable parts its tmaxx.
the t runs off a tub chassis, basically thers a skid plate and a couple of screws that connect the back and front to the center tub, that makes it very weak, itll twist in that spot or just totally snap off.
on the savvy it connects on both sides with 3 screws each, the diff connects to the tvps, the skid connects to the tvps, then there a couple of ladder bars.
ill get some pics up in a min or so
yes, the t will be a savvy at acceleration, its alot lighter and to me smallblocks have better acceleration. but in a drag it will be it in top speed
ive seen savvys jumped off roofs, over barns. and not break ive see ts do that, and shatter.
yes tmaxx was a big hit, because basically it was the first of its kind, but it left alot of room to improve one, think of it every truck they have is .15 aka 2.5, even tho ther a type R its the same all of it is the same.
ive had a 2.5, they have horrible tunin issues but so does the s.25 , the 2.5 wont even start at times, i think this is because it has a alu. carb and the heat is easly transfered to the fuel nipple and it cause the fuel to boil before it reaches the carb and motor, i have alu carb on my motor, im replacing it a composite carb. but the problem with the t is you can upgrade up a .18 but theres not many out there, most people will suggest you to get a .21 and to do that you gotta do a kit, a new tub and some new drive lines..thats expensive..
heres the main t page
http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitro/tmaxx/trx_tmaxx_over.htm
theres a forum in there aswell, you can look over how many problems there with it stock
http://hpiracing.com/index2.htm

I guess that car is why I am continually amazed by my old RC10 b3, if it breaks it is because i was really being stupid. Same with the gt. Oh and thanks to this thread i went to the hobby shop and spent 80 bucks. Dang you all.
1st is all stock but a motor saver filter and exhaust.
2nd has a sirio .18, trinity big bore pipe, FO conversion, aluminum clutch, upgraded servos, motor saver filter, dual rate springs, and some different bumpers.
3rd one is not finished but has a paris racing .21 with R&B mods porting/polish, paris racing pipe, aluminum adjustable clutch, FOC kit, .21 conversion chassis, chrome steel drive lines, "cold air" intake, k&n filter, aluminum skit plate, aluminum chassis braces, aluminum servo skid, xtm steering servo, venom speedo meter, venom onboard temp, dual rate springs, swamp dog tires (mini boggers) with cut back tires, 2 pro-line paddle tires for sand, all 6 are on the clawz wide maxx chrome wheels, new uncut/unpainted body, I'm sure I am forgetting a few things but oh well.
I haven't run my trucks in almost a year now, started building truck #3 and lost all interest in RC's before I got to finish it, I wish I could sell it, but you never get anywhere near what you put in them
