do our trucks have a spare fuse slot that is only on with the key? i have an fm modulator hooked up and it is currently hooked in to an always-on slot, which i heard might not be such a great idea.
I don't know about a fuse, but I do know there is an only on with key wire. It's behind the headunit, I don't remember the color of it off the top of my head though. What's the modulator for?
Your talking about the feed wire for a power antenna which is normally
blue or yellow. Most of the time yellow. Use a test light before you hook
up to it.
No.. a feed wire for power antenna is blue and only comes with aftermarket radios since we have Bronco II's the stock HU doesn't have a blue wire.. don't know if he has stock HU or not. And yellow is for constant +12V or memory, and again it's not that color for stock wiring.
aleahey - Sorry, I haven't gotten to my Bronco II for a little while, I'll be with it tomorow morning so hopefully I'll be able to post it for you then. I'm about 60 miles away from home right now but I'll be there in about 8 hours lol.
Stock radios usually don't last long in anything I own, but until I find a bigger alternator I'll leave that alone. Besides I have other more critcal things to address.
I looked at it today, but have already forgotten lol. I'll post here in a couple hours, I'm fixing to install some LED's under the dash and I'm going to tap into the remote lead as a power source.
