hey i just got some drive shafts from a high boy and seen that there u joints are wider one way than they are the other are all high boys like this or did i just get some rare breed of high boy
on mine, the front and rear driveshafts use the same u-joints like the ones you described. The intermediate shaft uses a u joint thats the same on all sides.
ahh ok so the short shaft uses the same size ones this helps alot thanks guyssee im running a highboy case the divorced np205 in my 92 and i cut down the short shaft and put on my slip yoke from my truck so i could mate it to the e4od and the u joint in the front and rear shafts happen to be the same with one way as the f150s so i can use my slip yoke with that dirve shaft now
there are three different u-joints listed for a hi-boy and you could have all three on the same truck or all the same I allways have the owner bring the joint to get a replacement cause ya never know what on a truck
