A/C conversion- R12 to R134

Just dump 134a into the system, the conversion is nothing but adaptors from the screw style too the quick diconect, and the freons do mix. I have been working with my dad my whold life and he has done it for nearly 40 years. I have mixed freon in several icemakers trucks and have had no ill effects.
If the system has not been run in a long time then you might change the acumulator and check the pressure switch. Also, blow out the lines if they are not charged.
