Parking light problems

I have a 1994 F-250 turbo diesel that I am having light problems on. The only way I can get the parking lights to burn is to place the headlight switch between notches. I have replaced the swithch already. Does anyone have any help.?

This may sound funny but you don't have any headlight flashers like a firetruck or EMT vehicle do you? If so, you may have a flasher box gettin ready to die....classic on Fords!!

No special equipment, just a standard truck.
