Code 44-89 f-150-302- 4x
code 44- This code states that secondary or themactor air, right side, is inoperable.Does this refer to the diverter valve not working,or something else? Thanks

Never recieved any replies on my post, but fortunately after doing some research I found that my TAD solenoid was bad. (Would not bleed when vacuum was applied to the outlet port of the solenoid, and would not register vacuum when tested electrically. Just thought I'd post this in case 44 comes up for someoone else. This seemed much simpler to diagnose and repair this way then the other options the book suggested. (checking the diverter and check valves which you probably know are a bear to get to.)
