best bet would be buy a long block 7.3 from ford . the only cat small enough to fit would be a 3114 , although a 3126e/ c7 would be nice 350 hp inline 6

Yes they do. I saw an F-550 out at Dumont Dunes about 3 years ago that had a CAT under the hood. BTW, that truck had a huge crowd around it and I know it was the coolest street legal pickup I've ever seen.
Also, an old guy I work with swears you can buy a Ford truck in Canada equipped with a CAT engine. Be nice if someone from up north would chime in and confirm or deny that. I believe he has land in Montana and gets up around that area and around Alberta about once a year.
yes the bigger commercail trucks have a cat and cummins as options the cat is the 3126 and cummins is the 5.9 650 and 750 series but these are not super duty trucks they are med. duty different frame and drive train
