Getting a PO174 error with check engine light on in '97 Expedition. Have replaced fuel filter, replaced both O2 sensors up from cat's, replaced intake manifold gaskets, checked gas pressure, 30-42 psi.
PCV line and elbows appear to be fine.
111,000 miles, problem surfaced at around 90,000, no driveablility issues, just an annoying light.
Thanks,

You may have an injector that is going bad and leaning out a cylinder? Have you tried running some cleaner through them? If you pulled the plugs, were any of them white in color, which tends to indicate a lean condition. Are you experiencing any detonation (pinging)? Running lean is a bad thing, that could cause an engine failure. Hope it is something minor.

Before the intake gaskets. Had the error for about 20,000 miles. Doesn't affect drivability at all. Mileage is a little lower but that's it. We listed for vacuum leaks and heard a faint leak in the intake area. The gaskets were starting to separate (a common problem I've heard) but no major blow outs. Bolted it back together and the code came back. Since then I've replaced the pvc line and valve and cleaned the MAS and cleared the codes. Code has not shown back up.
