I am looking to put a little power into my stock motor. I looked up a package in a Jegs catalog that seemed reasonable. #350-2171 PK. along with an Accell dist. I am looking for someone who has bought and used this package or another one close to it. What kind of performance increase did you get? Was there any change in fuel consumption? Better or worse?
My 78' 150 is bone stock. No headers, no nothing different than from off the showroom floor. Other than dual exhaust. 275/15 tires all around. 2.75 rear.
I appreciate anyones input.

1hdman , I think that if you would list all the items in the "Kit" where we could evaluate it without having to go to a jegs catalogue you would would probablly get more responses......just a thought.........fd
You should see an increase in low end response plus a marginal fuel economy increase. Match the mainfold with a lower CFM carb like a 600.
I disagree on the distributor. I think the Duraspark is an excellent piece, but if you really are looking for an aftermarket dizzy go for the MSD. Although pricey it is well worth it.
