pop-lock

anyone using the pop-lock autop tailgate lock which locks with your keyless entry? Is it worthwhile or a waste?....

I just use the lock that's in the tail gate. Most often it's locked. I try to think ahead when I'm going to need to open it and unlock it before getting in the cab. I've been bitten once or twice. -had to shut the PSD down to use the key. I like my keyless entry, I use it. I like power locks. I use them. But doubt that I'll extend the same feature to the tailgate. Now, if it comes as an option with a remote start/key fob package, I might implement it. Not until then though.

Unfortunately I don't have information about the product you asked about. Just opinions about just about anything. And you know what opinions are...

I didn't notice that you had an Excursion. My 04' has a factory tailgate lock. I just sorta figured that all of them did. Looking at my window sticker for a list of options, I don't know if that lock is part of the "Advanced Security Group 315" or not. I thought that was just my keyless entry stuff.
